Gayatri is a trained Bollywood & Indian semi-classical dancer. Gayatri has had the privilege of training with Vijayshree Chaudhary, a direct disciple of Pandit Birju Maharaj. Currently, Gayatri trains with Kathak exponent Parul Shah in NYC.

Gayatri has worked with Saroj Khan (Devdas) and Longinus Fernandes (Slumdog Millionaire).

As a member of Sa Dance Company, Gayatri has performed at Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theatre and NYC’s SummerStage, and guest performed with Bollywood Boulevard at NJPAC.
